Description: 10ft (3m). Evergreen. Long, sword-like leaves. Clusters of tubular, dull red flowers on short stems. "Variegatum" group has cream stripes, "Purpureum" group has purplish-bronze leaves.
Cultivation: Frost hardy, -5°C. Sun. Tolerates any exposure to salt winds - ideal `pioneer'.
